Leicht und Robust! Best buy!

Great tent- compact … light … easy to set up…. Haven’t checked the water-proofing looking forward to that

Would recommend this tent

Both my boyfriend and I absolutely love the Lone Rider Adv Motorcycle Tent!
We used it on a recent USA cross-country trip and found these to be our favourite features:
- Packs small and is lightweight
- Spacious with room for 2 people + riding gear
- Easy to set up/take down and the 1 piece pole system is genius!
- Outer tent is fully waterproof and UV resistant which also provides corners for storage
- Double sided entry doors make it easy to get in and out
Once we got the tent all set-up I removed the waterproof inner bags from my Lone Rider semi-rigid motorcycle bags on my bike and placed them in the corners of the outer tent for storage overnight.
IT WAS PERFECT!
Job well done Lone Rider for creating such an awesome tent and semi-rigid bags too for my bike since I’m a huge fan of those as well :)

Comme toujours à recommander jamais déçu

Super Erfahrung mit Lone Rider und auch dem Zelt. Hat mich trocken gehalten, einfach aufzubauen und gutes Packmass. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
Danke Lone Rider

top Uelt, schnell auf- und abgebaut

Large, quick to put up / take down, convenient pockets wisely placed around and held well through torrential rain and some strong wind gusts. All in all performs as advertised and meets all expectations.

Hello.
My name is Steven.
On last year I had a great holidays, driving with my friend along west coast of USA.
I had one problem. My tent was too heavy.
My other friend show to me a Lone Rider tent.
Small size is perfect to put into a panier.
Easy to set up, light, prefect size for one person.
Finally I bought my own and I am very happy.
Joel C.
Petite et légère, elle est top pour les road trip et super facile à monter et démonter. Très résistance à l’eau. Elle a été mise à rude épreuve dans les Pyrénées ! Je la recommande sans hésitation. De plus, le contenu est complet.
BRIAN W.
Well, so far i have managed to set it up inside my shop for a couple nights of “camping”!! I can say like all my other lone rider gear, it is well thought out, impressive quality and easy to deploy & stow. Looking forward to a summer of glamping!
Hanz
Compact design. Big enough for my liking when set-up.
Eric A.
Parfait, facile à monter. Bon espace intérieur ✌️
Jeffrey B.
Opened up and used before travel. Just as expected, it is compact when bagged and fits well on top of dry bags on a Tiger 850. It is easy to setup with the pole system being connected and coded. I have tent camped for decades and this is one of the quicker medium-small tents to setup. I will update after a June trip to Vancouver Island, over 6 days of use.
Jose Solano S.
Pleased with this tent, first time camping, very packable on my bike luggage.
Rodney K.
I bought a tent (Black Friday) and LoneRider would now like a review. How unfair. It is, after all, a ‘three’ season tent and I am in the middle of the ‘fourth’, so there has been no opportunity to set it up. Alas, it’s cold here. I can, however, state with conviction that I am more than pleased with my purchase. I did my research and have long (long!) experience wilderness canoe camping with a North Face tent. When bought, that tent was damned expensive, but it lasted decades with reliable (great) service. The LoneRider ADV tent (what DOES ADV actually mean?) checks ALL the boxes for quality: unbeatable fly and groundsheet waterproofing (10000 mm); seam sealing; zipper construction; tent peg quality; and, of course, overall design and layout - details actually count. As to weight, it's lighter than my old NorthFace yet should easily offer all the protection needed when it's down and dirty. Do your own research, but for me LoneRider delivers high quality (ADV 30L bag and 6L minibag - and yes, I have ridden 'ADV' on three continents and across a Triple Junction in the North Atlantic). Bugger the cost, it's worth it 'IMHO - LOL'. I'll send in another review if I change my mind next summer. Cheers.

Alles bestens! Super Produkt!! Tolle Qualität!!
John H.
I brought the tent for my son. I would have brought 2 if I could afford it, another for my Daughter. As it is we are going to go for a road trip with 3 bikes, 2 tents to Invercargill and the Burt Munro challenge. We will show off our 2 lone rider tents.
Doug S.
Awsome Tent. 5 weeks on the road /trail using it almost every night. Super packable. Lightweight, easy set up, and lots of room. Best tent I’ve ever had. Can’t say enough good stuff about. Bonus is when I’ve had to contact Lone Rider about an issue they were more than helpful. Great company and great products.
Florian T.
Tony D.
That’s the best fu**ing tent I’ve ever had!!!
I’m Currently on a tour though Europe and this tent saved me more that once my sweet A**
If it rains, no problem, the tent will keep you dry… When it's hot, simply fold up the side walls and enjoy some fresh air!
it is light, tear-resistant and has a small pack size. it is simply the BEST tent for long trips when traveling with small equipment!
Big thanks to LoneRider, you did a great Job!!!!!
Christophe B.
Mike F.
We took the tent for the first time last week and very easy to put up the quality is superb ample space for two people with all the motorbike gear , well thought out for motorbike riders , very easy to erect and likewise to pack.
Would recommend to any other bikers and have done already .
Great service from this company second to none.
Theresia L.
Tried it out with my daughter- she loved it. Very convenient and comfortable

Merci Lone Rider !
Tony W.
Paces down small enough to fit in a side case, easy to put up, plenty of space and it keeps you dry and warm. What more could you need, its the perfect Moto Camping tent.
Mario R.
Was looking for a quality tent to motocamp on my DR650. So far I like it. Went on a trip this past weekend with my buddy to hit some single track up. Simple and fast setup/takedown. Packs nicely. Looking forward to many more memories with it.

La mejor tienda de campaña para moto, sin lugar a dudas..

Eric D.
Very good tent for moto travelling !
easy to install / pack, waterproof, exactly the best ratio folded volume / enough space for 2 bikers, top quality of the materials. We use it for 2 weeks travels with daily mounting / unmounting for 2 bikers with full gear.
Would buy again without hesitation, could be yet improved with a SOS groundsheet that would have the footprint of the full tent, including lateral absides.
Tony W.
Quick and easy to put up, snug and comfortable to sleep in, and it fits in my pannier! what more could you want from a motorcycle tent?!
Jim G.
My first time out with this tent was a 14 day trip from Houston to Moab, Utah. and back. We camped about 8 or 9 times. The tent was certainly built for moto riders in mind for sure! It was a tough ride with temps ranging from the high 80’s to near 32F and some snow. Several rain storms in between. It never failed and all was good.
I did however upgrade the ground cover to a much heavier tarp because we camped in some really remote off road areas. But that’s just me, always a bit guilty of a little overkill.
Bryan S.
Best tent I've owned! Compact, lightweight and easy to set up.
Rich G.
USED ON A MOTORCYCLE TRIP AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY BEST TENT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED
Marc
Awesome. Just awesome.
James S.
Loved the tent, it is light, packs easily on my motorcycle, was roomy, appreciated having doors on each side and it was easy to setup the first time. :)
Rick M.
Used it for a week, it great lot's of room for myself

Motocamping, which starts with Lonerider, is bringing something live to my life.
I'm having a fun weekend with Overlander bag and Adv Tent.
In the last camping, there was a problem with the pole, so I shared my worries with the Lonerider, then they delivered a new pole right away, so I experienced the warranty program.
Thanks Lonerider.
Michael M.
Had a great experience with the ADV Tent this past weekend! Was very easy to set up. Having a tent with a completely mesh interior tent is different than what I've had in the past, but the airflow through it was awesome, and I know that's going to come in handy in some of the warmer months here in the Southeast US. Time will tell on how it is when it's freezing out but so far very pleased! I had several compliments on it while I was out from other campers. Packing size is just right for my bike. I hope to get several years of use from it.
Tami W.
I have not had the opportunity to use this tent in a motocamping application yet, but I did set it up in my yard right away! It was so simple to set up and the quality is what one would expect from Lone Rider...excellent! I am chomping at the bit to get a chance to use this ADV tent and I doubt that I'll be disappointed when I do! Thanks, Lone Rider! Another quality product for motorcyclists!
Fred A C.
Haven’t slept in it yet, but set it up in my living room. My wife is starting to worry about me! Any way it appears to be good quality construction, should last a good while.
John W.
The tent is roomy and well made. Should do its job well. On my first camping trip it did well. It packs fairly large and could be easier to assemble… but neither are deal breakers. It fits in my Triumph pannier (just takes up a lot of room). Overall I’m happy with it. If I were doing it again I might go with Big Agnes… but it would be a close call.
John R.
Try as you may you won't find a better 1-2 person moto tent. As many will attest it just doesn't fail to provide reliably dry and wind-free shelter with excellent ventilation and rapid setup/breakdown. Materials and workmanship are premium and dependable. Packable size is a huge bonus- Fits right in the pannier. Colors are nature-neutral and visible footprint is minimal. Stealth camp to your heart's delight. Buy once, buy right, buy it.
Travis W.
Perfect balance of burly, light and packs small. My opinion. Bigger and heavier than my old climbing tent but it takes a beating.
Myron M.
Quilty is very good. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. Waiting for spring to enjoy it. Will get back to a better review after.
David P.
Bought the tent during the Black Friday event. I won’t be using the tent until spring or summer, but I did set the tent up in the middle of the living room. Set up is easy and the tent was quite roomy. The tent is quite a bit bulkier than my other motorcycle tent, I’ll just have to wait to see how the tent holds up in the field.
Marc C.
price is excessive
Roman A.
Excellent product, good quality.
Gary S.
What’s not to love about this gear? LR does it again! Such a well designed and easy to pack/set-up space. Also doesn’t hurt that it makes my riding buddies a little jealous.
Monnix J.
Great tent. I love having two cross poles (instead of one), this gives a lot more head room. The fly is great as it provides a lot of different configurations. The only not-awesome thing is its weight/packability, but the positives make up for it.
Marek U.
I like everything that tent represents the quality purpose, the size, the weight, very spacious, easy to set up and easy to caring
Leon P.
Like the size and easy set up.
Hagai S.
Comfortable and easy to use
David T.
I Love this tent!
Anthony
The tents are fantastic,
but the delivery with DPD was not so good, took about 4 days to get from Cardiff depot to my house, half hours drive
Eric
Well made, cool colors and feels rugged. I can’t wait to put it to the test.
Rushpaul
Not tried it yet - quality feels awesome. Super compact too.
Jason
Not used as yet but after erecting the tent its quality's very nice and extremely easy to put together. The weights low and packaged size in its waterproof bag very convenient for motorbike life. It has plenty of room inside for 2 with ample storage space for gear. Fantastic being free standing with enough head height to sit. Looking forward to camping out soon.
Louis H.
First time used this tent it rained its guts out. I didn't have one drop in the tent. The second night I got into camp after dark in a thunderstorm wind blowing like crazy. I set the tent up using the technique with the fly first. It was more time consuming but still not a drop inside the tent. I was worried about the bag being waterproof too but with riding all day in the rain the tent was dry for the set up.
Kyle M.
Absolutely love this tent! Took it on multiple trips this past summer/fall and it performed flawlessly every time. Tent quality and construction is top notch and the built-in features are much appreciated. Tent is very spacious inside and has plenty of room for riding gear as well as sleeping gear. This product deserves 5 stars and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a tent.
Margaret I.
I love how this tent has two entrances so that when you are two people you don’t have to climb each other to enter/exit the tent. Also, it is very easy to set up and to pack again. Cons: it is fairly small considering how much space and weight it takes up on the bike. It is a nice size for one person, as you can use the rest of the tent to store your gear and bags. The tent fits two people, but then there is not much space for luggage.
Benjamin S.
The tent itself was excellent. Plenty of room, and it was very easy to erect, even though I got into my campsite after dark and could not read the instructions . Stood up well to the weather (heavy rain on the second night, but stayed dry ). The only issue I had was with the pegs. They were a bit flimsy and I broke several over the course of my trip, but I generally consider pegs to be consumable items anyway. Excellent product over all, would recommend
Joe K.
Just got back from 17 days and 4,000 miles of riding and camping. I love the tent! The only problem I had was with the steaks. Where they are skinny at the top, the grove the rope grabs, I had at least 6 break while trying to get them in the ground. I’m glad y’all include so many. Do you sell any tougher steaks? Thanks.

Has now proven itself durable & well worth the investment. Many months of use in the BC interior saw this rig exposed to all conditions except for snow. Rarely deployed the guy lines & it held its own through plenty of strong winds. Even after weeks of sun baking UV’s changed it’s colour to a pale shade of what I’m calling “Pemberton Purple”, the fabric still didn’t seem to get weak, brittle or susceptible to tearing. Many downpours & never leaked a drop from above. Only ever saw one mildly damp corner where rain shed got between the ground sheet & floor. Important to keep middle the guys below the vents well staked out to prevent that. Minimal condensation issues with both vents deployed & never enough to create any droplets on the ceiling.
Sheds water extremely well & only develops some minor pooling between the two roof cross poles above the doors. Still that never came through & beads off quickly with a little shake in the mornings. UV damage did seem to compromise the water beading slightly over the long term, but a cleanup & coating of silicon spay quickly restored that. Considering how long i had this unit pitched, through all kinds of conditions, it has held up extremely well.
That it comes complete with footprint & a durable enough bag to pack on it’s own outside the rackless soft bags makes it a good value compared to others that upsell you on footprints. No, It’s not lightweight enough to double as a backpackers tent, nor does it claim to be. And that weight penalty comes with a durability that puts those ultralights to shame. Plenty spacious enough for the “lone” rider, with well thought out details that work extremely well for moto camping in 3+ seasons. The versatility of configurations is also excellent. Zippers have held up well & aren’t prone to snag on the material very often.
I’m not as fond of it’s newly faded colour as the original. (The poles are even bleached under the fly as well as the guy lines.) It saw a LOT of harsh baking summer sun in high temps. But I’m accepting that as reminder of the countless nights i was able to confidently depend on this rig to comfortably host me warm & dry regardless of the conditions. Even IF it ever begins to fall apart, I’d be perfectly content to invest in another. At this point it doesn’t owe me a dime & appears to have plenty of life left yet.
5 stars Lone Rider, excellent product!
sid ahmed b.
Loved the tente on my 10 days solo camping ride survived the strong winds
The only thing is the small picks I had to buy stronger ones of the soil is hard there’s no way to hit them with a hammer the broke
But overall fantastic tente easy and fast to assemble I recommend it and buy it again if need to
RICHARD L.
Great tent. Easy to erect, well designed and well made. I can also vouch that it is totally waterproof. Plenty of room inside and the venting system works very well. Packs small and light.
Paul M.
Many small tents tried for motocamping, all seem a bit heavy and slight cumbersome to pack in panniers, not the LoneRider ADV tent!
It packs small in its own dry bag, more than enough room for touring two up with all the extras you want for motocamping. Easily put up one of two ways… inert then fly or outer first! (Check the video on putting it up in wet weather!!!!, having just toured the Peak District, arriving in the rain everything stayed dry. The bath tub bottom keeps the inner dry and surprisingly warmer than my previous tents even though the inner is mostly mesh, which is so much less stuffy than my old units. If I can give one recommendation … dip in your pockets and buy one of these tents!!
Paul
What a fantastic tent, light, packs well and seem much roomier and warm than my last 2/3 man tent. Seriously recommended!!
Grégory D.
Super matériel ! Livraison rapide.
Idéal pour trip à moto !
Acheté pour voyage au Cap Nord en juin 2023.
Rob B.
Very well built long lasting tent! I've been using it for years on my motorcycle camping trips. I've tried a few lighter weight backpacking style tents. Unfortunately the quality of the backpacking tents makes them unsuitable for traveling. The seems rip and the material rips. I also noticed that the collapsed pole length is usually longer on the backpacking tents. Not sure why this is, but Lone Rider did us a solid by making the packaged tent shorter to fit in our panniers. Lets be honest, 2-3 lbs difference is not that important on a motorcycle like it is when backpacking. This tent has had zero issues after being put up and taken down 100s of times!
Paul S.
This tent is very well thought out and it's very high quality. Very happy. Cheers, ride safe.
Richard L.
This was my first trip using the Lone Rider tent, first moto camping trip ever, so I am a newbie with nothing to directly compare it to. But I will say the tent survived some serious rain so it is absolutely 100% waterproof.
The tent is easy to set up and take down, packs small and light, has plenty of room inside and was comfortable for me (at 6'-1" tall) with great venting. I could easily get my cot and all my riding gear inside the tent with room to spare.
You can really feel the entire tent package has been designed by motorcycle riders for motorcycle riders. A clique I know, but seems to be true.
My only negative critiques if I could come up with some are minor:
Firstly, the tent pegs look cool but are very flimsy with somewhat sharp edges. At least six or bent broke on just my first trip and I cut my hand on one during the initial push in.
Secondly, I noticed that compared to other tents this one sits relatively low. Sitting upright in the tent, my head touches the roof at the highest point. To be honest, this did not bother me at all as I really had no occasion to sit up for any length of time.
Overall, a feature packed waterproof tent package which is relatively inexpensive. I had no indication the tent would not hold up well over time and with many, many set ups and take downs. There are more expensive, more robust tents out there but I am very happy I purchased this one. Although I will be buying a better set of tent pegs to take with me next time.
Dawid
Absolutely love this tent! Would recommend for couple (2up) easily. I am in heavy rain as writing this review and so far 3 hours into it I tent is completely dry.
Very easy to pitch up, breathable, plenty of rider friendly features. Very well made so big shout to LR crew again !
Marcos Q.
Best tent I’ve owned… so easy to set up at night and very durable.
Terry G.
I have a couple of tents and was never happy with them. Bought this one and the reviews are correct this has been designed for the motorcyclist and its great. I will be putting my other tents up for sale, including an MSR which I thought was good, nowhere near as good as this one. Well made quality materials and well thought out design.
Jeffrey J.
I’ve never owned or set up a tent before, but riding adventure motorcycles in the mountains required me to buy one. I’ve watched others struggle with their tent set up, but this tent was surprisingly easy for me to figure out. All components are high quality, the bag is durable and big enough to get everything back into again. Easily straps to my bike if more room in the panniers is needed. Great tent that hope to use for years to come.
Jeremy C.
Works great, plenty of room. Well designed. However, plan on purchasing better tent stakes. I break at least one every time I set camp.
william s.
Great tent super fast setup and take down (the fastest) comes with a ground sheet!! Storage dry bag is awesome. This tent is complete you don't have to buy any other things for it no trips to rei!!REALLY is a great tent. .......Billy ...new richmond ohio
Jeff N.
The tent was as advertised! Great product worth the money! I recently went on a 10 day motorcycle trip thru 8 states and loved the tent as it is a well made quality tent. Easy to put up and take down and love the dry bag carry case. It is now my favorite tent. Thank you lone rider!
Highly recommended!!!!
Stewart H.
Great tent! So easy to put up and I love the weather proof bag.
Only thing I would like is a ground tarp the size of the vestibule footprint.
But, seriously a great tent. Added bonus, they didn't make the packaging so small you start your morning angry after trying to repack the tent.
Easy easy easy
Peter K.
Loving this tent.
I had a couple of problems with the pegs but LoneRider has taken care of it already! Excellent Customer Service!!!
The picture is taken on the Bay Of Fundy. What you don’t see is the incredibly strong winds and heavy rain that lasted for about 20 minutes right after setting it up for the first time ever. Not a drop of rain inside and it handled the high winds no problem!
I have been using this tent for the last 10 days straight and am still very impressed with it. I’m confident I will enjoy this tent for years to come!
Curtis S.
Well built, easy set up, very sturdy. Easy to carry and pack up. One of the best tents I've owned.
Bradley G.
Very happy with this tent! I like the way it blends into the environment and it's super easy to set up and pack up. Well made and smart design.
Rob P.
We love this tent. The quality of the material and the workmanship are top notch. It’s easy to set up and take down. I can’t think of any way this tent could be improved. I highly recommend the ADV tent to riders or anyone looking for a superior quality tent.
Aaron J.
Plenty of room, breaths good
John M.
Great tent, I spent a week in South Dakota in it and had no problems. I had plenty of room in it when it poured rain.
Gary R.
Have had limited opportunities to use this, but did in N Mex. Tent was easy to set up and had plenty of room to pull my bags into the tent w me. No weather to test the tent yet. That will happen w time. Quality is apparent in all surfaces. Im Pleased w my purchase.
Lautaro E.
Solo camping in Northern California with my new tent. Absolutely magic! Easy set up, easy take down. Roomy as heck and packs down small and light. Couldn’t be happier.
Mark T.
Cant yet havent tried it yet.
Russ S.
I did a trial setup for ease and time to setup. Very pleased with how easy and quick it is to deploy. Very spacious and airy.
Vladimir G.
The design of the tent is great . The materials of which the tent is made are of a good quality. I use it on 2 different camping trips, total of 6 days, it rained on 2 nights, and the tent stayed dry inside. Easy to put up and take down. Not to heavy and pack good, I like the mole webbing on the outside of the carrying bag. Now 1 thing that can be improved is the size of the underlying footprint of the tent, it can be made little bit bigger so when you take your boots/ shoes you have a place where to stand and not step on the ground before you get inside your tent. Now one thing that I’m disappointed with. I’m not sure if this is a bad Bach of ground stakes that the manufacturer got from its vendors, but I have 4 of the ground stakes bended out of shape and 1 totally broke up in the middle. I have had better experience with a way cheaper tents ground stakes than with this one. Just not acceptable for a tent of this price .
Arthur T.
Withstands very strong thunderstorms or storms
