I have had the 9L Ranger tank bag for just over a year now and I love it. From the perfect sizing, not to small not to big, perfect fit on the bike, very durable material, the magnetic snap buckles are super easy to use and one key feature that I love is the 360 inner mesh pockets, super useful, plus room to fit my camera gear or even you could fit the Dji mini 3 pro drone.
One negative, well not really a negative, yet in my opinion the seams between the bag and the strap should be a little more reinforced and I say this because of a little crash incident that I had offroad where my boot buckles somehow got caught on the side of the top lid, putting extra force on the straps causing them to partially rip off.
Besides that, it is an excellent product, I would highly recommend and I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Absolutely love my Ranger tank bag! 9L of space? Yes please! And the magnetic clips to secure it and open it? Genious! Plenty of room in this for my cameras, small tools, and the basics like sunglasses, wallet, phone, etc. highly recommend!

A good bag. Not too big, not too small with enough accommodation. I like the sense of designing, which is common with that of the MiniBag and Overlander. I do not like the rear straps stretching down too long so arranged them short, which satisfies me.

Used to have a Givi tank bag which locks to the gas ring, but it was always a pain to move. The LR tank bag contains the same contents and is so easy to use. Just love it.

I’m a tank bag person.. I like to have all by delicate gears under my control more than having them in a tail bag which is more exposed. I was annoyed by the attachment straps at first (compared to the thank rings that other brands are using) but that completely disappeared from my mind over time. The bag is very easy to remove when you have to fill the tank (just release the two front buckles and slide the bag back to your seat). The inside is easy to organise and big enough to store everything I want to have immediate access to (keys, leatherman, sun glasses, ear plugs, silk gloves, medical kit, you name it..).

A very handy tankbag, not too big but just an ideal size. Cool design details like passport holder or the magnetic locking mechanism . Andrew’s video was a nice feature, the mounting up became easier. The bag is high but there is absolutely no obstruction for visibility and sits very steadily on the tank.
Good design, we know from the earlier LoneRider bags that they are literally indestructible.

However both bags have amazing quality and this 9L tank bag is the perfect fit for my 17’ GSA easy mounting and stays put…..
The bag mounts tight and is super easy to get access to even with gloves on. I highly recommend this bag and of course the 30L overlander my only regret was not ordering the MotoBags at the same time now that I’ve seen the quality, fit and finish of the Lone Rider bags I’m a big fan !

Excellent tank bag with a great style.
We love the ease of use with the clever quick release buckles - it is as easy/quick to remove as our old Givi tankbag which had a quick lock.
the inner pockets and divider are amazing for organising all the smaller items, plus we can easily fit out mirrorless camera with lens and feel it is safe and secure.
The quality feels very good.
The only small downside is that we feel it is slightly too small for long term / long distance touring and has no easy way to store water for the rider to drink while riding (such as a bladder option), but we knew this when we got it so we still give 5 stars :)

Lonerider products are not just for adventure bikes. I just got back from a week long trip. The Ranger tank bag combined with my 30L Overlander bag and ADV tent stood up to all weather conditions with no leaks.

Personnellement, je suis un adepte des sacs de réservoir. Et le Ranger 9L de Lone Rider est parfait sur ma Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports. Je l'utilise en conjonction avec mon Tail Pack. Il est rigide, assez grand pour transporter tout ce dont j'ai besoin et auquel je dois accéder facilement (portefeuille, téléphone, appareil photo compact, couteau, chiffon, lunettes, bouchons auditifs, etc.) et parfois en roulant. Il est facile à installer et à utiliser, mais surtout, il est totalement étanche. Je l'adore et je ne pourrais plus m'en passer aujourd'hui. Un super achat!

This tank bag fits my bike perfectly. It's big enough for everything I need to carry yet small enough not to get in the way when I'm standing on the pegs off-road. After using a bag that wasn't waterproof, I'm thrilled with that (though I live in California♀️). I'm fitting it with protective foam and will carry my camera equipment in it. Perfect bag.

Great product! Took me a little while to figure out how to attach to my GS, but once I got it on there, it's perfect. Easy to detach and take with me into the coffee shop or wherever. Easy to put back on. Tested the rain proofing thoroughly - can confirm it works a charm.
