What a good idea to stay hydrated

At first, it took me a while to figure out how the mouthpiece and twist-to-open valve would work over my shoulder. I found that the flow rate improved by biting down on the mouthpiece instead of just holding it in my mouth. Great for keeping well hydrated on a long ride, but more than enough capacity for riding in hot weather across the desert and not running out. I used it on top of my 30 liter Overlander bag. It also worked when I attached straps for my arms to the Beavertail to sling it on my back on rides where I'm not using my Outlander bag -- not exactly its intended use but the Outlander comes with so many straps that I found this use for them as well.

Does a great job at hydrating you on the go, isolation of the tube keeps the water not too hot for hours. A mix of baking powder and water a couple of hours before using it works against the plastic taste that you can have a the beginging. Make it dry after every usage to prevent bacteries to propagate between usage, specailly when not using it for weeks. All in all, just works great.

It is ok, using it in the overlander. But the water is getting hot if you driving thru the sun.

The 3L hydration bladder came with the 48L Overlander bag. Would probably not have bought it if it was an option since there is a water bladder in the existing tank bag on the bike.
BUT, when riding solo it is used with the Overlander for extra water storage and when riding two up the passenger has their own personal water supply.
